Hello Renan,
There are no known issues of this nature involved with installing SMARTRFTM-STUDIO v2.18 on a Windows 10 system. Please have the customer remove all Smart RF Studio 7 files from their machine, restart, and try again. Make sure that the account has administrative rights when attempting to install and that their C drive has enough free space for the software.

This file may not be required for SMARTRFTM-STUDIO to work. Are you able to continue the install regardless of the error or does it abort? This is a Perl scripting file, do they have such software installed on their computer? Please ensure that the install path does include non-ascii characters or spaces. You may be able to check some other Microsoft forums since this may also be a OS issue given that such behavior has rarely occurred on other setups.

I got a new update from our customer. They weren't able to install your software tried to use a different path, default path, change name, default name still same error. They downloaded the prerequisite as sated in the link below, still same error

Any other solution we can offer? They tried in 2 laptops win 10pro the same error.

I still cannot find anyone internally who has replicated this issue or knows the reason. Can the customer try again to delete all instances from their system and then install v2.19 or an earlier version in the recent history? https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SMARTRFTM-STUDIO/

Since myself and other subject matter experts have never encountered this issue with SMARTRFTM-STUDIO, I can only suggest that the problem involves their Windows OS and recommend they return with any further debug information they may be able to provide.
