CC2652R: external regular mode XDS110

Part Number: CC2652R

Dear team,

When the CC2652 is powered by the external voltage regulation mode in the attached figure, the maximum power supply voltage is 1.95V.

But the XDS110 IO voltage is 3.3V, so can I still use XDS110 debugging and UART log printing?

  • Your setup is not clear, but if you have a custom board running external regulator mode you can still use the XDS110 on the LaunchPad for debugging. If you look at the LaunchPad schematic you will see there are level shifters on the debug signals. Just make sure to provide your boards supply voltage to the level shifters (through VDD-Sense in the debug header).
