Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530
If CC2530 output power=4.5dBm, what's the max output power in CC2530+CC2592 ?
Note: RF gain=24dB. when Pin=4.0dBm, Pout=21.9dBm in CC2592 datasheet.

Hi Liang,
It will be around 21 dBm depending on TXPOWER register setting, power supply voltage, frequency, and board design. Please see Sections 4.6 and 4.7 of SWRA465 for more details.

Ryan
CC2952 TX gain is 24dB, when CC2530 output power set to -10dBm, the total output power from CC2592 will be -10+24=14dBm.
Is that right?
In a lossless system that would be true, in reality if the CC2530 was set for an output power of -10 dBm (TXPOWER register setting of 0x65) then adding the CC25592 front end is expected to result in an output power of 11.8 dBm if using an optimized board design (i.e. CC2530-CC2592EM-RD)
