RF37S114: Implementation of the RF37S114

Part Number: RF37S114

Hi,

My customers want to use RF37S114. I would appreciate your advice on how to mount it.
Are there any requirements when using this on their PCB boards?
For example, the distance to the surrounding metal and Ingenuity of the PCB board.

Do we use RF37S114 with an adhesive?

Regards,
Rei

  • Hi Rei,

I asked around but could not find any recommendations for the implementation of the RF37S114 transponder in a customer environment.

How the transponder is applied depends on the use case of the customer but when it has to be applied to a PCB an adhesive has to be used. Because any metal will detune the transponder it should be avoided to have metal (copper layers) below the transponder. I can only recommend for the customer to do an evaluation of the reading distance of the transponder when put on a PCB Also the influence of surrounding parts can only be evaluated in the customer environment.

    Best Regards,
