RF430FRL152H: Something About ADC0 data.

Part Number: RF430FRL152H

Hello,

I have designed an application for ECG measurement using RF430FRL152H, I can observe the wave using an Oscilloscope, but I can't read change data using trf7970, the data always is FF3F, and when I using the RF430FRL152HEVM, I can read the change data.  could you plz tell me what the problem may be?

there is my PCB design

Best regards

Senhao Zhang

  • Hello Senhao,

I think the data bytes in 0xFF3F are swapped by the ISO protocol. So the actual reading data is 0x3FFF, which is the ADC full scale value (see table 10-3 and figure 10-8 in the reference manual: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slau506).

Please check the following aspects of your application:

Is the signal path at ADC0 identical on both of your setups?

How did you modify the RF430FRL152HEVM to connect your signal to ADC0?

Do you also have developed a customized firmware loaded to the RF430FRL152H device?

    Best regards,

    Andreas.
