CC2510: input ports dynamic behavior

Part Number: CC2510

Hello,

We have some questions about the CC2510 input port’s dynamic behavior (there is basically nothing in the datasheet).

BTW, this is one of the ordinary PIOs, specifically PIO1_2, not one of the two special PIOs, PIO1_0 and PIO1_1,  that don’t have pullup/pulldown.

Assume Vdd = 3.0V, room temp, port configured for input and not pulled up or down internal.

At the minimum

  1. What is the rough/approximate gate capacitance as seen from the pin?  To the nearest 10 pF?
  2. Is there any sort of equivalent circuit for the input?  I know it’s negligible current at static high and static low, but what about during crossover?
  3. Are there any sort of ESD protection diodes, and if so at what offset from Vdd do they start conducting?  Assuming 15 pF total parasitic capacitance and 3nA sink current, and 100k ohms from input to VDD when the input is overdriven my sims show about 200mV of overdrive (above Vdd) at the input for a bit less than a microsecond, which is probably not enough to do anything, but better to check.

Thanks,

Adam
