    Hello,

    CC2431 includes HW location engine which makes SW development easier for location systems. The integrated location engine uses RSSI to calculate the position of a node, you have access to RSSI on more recent devices (e.g. CC2530) which are better supported through HW tools and SW resources. If you use CC2530 instead of CC2431, the main difference will be to implement the calculation algorithm in SW.
