I’m writing to bring your attention some technical issues that i have encountered while testing the CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS and the XDS110 Debug PROBE.

Firstly I have been experiencing frequent connectivity issues with the XDS110 debug PROBE. I tried to plug in the XDS110 to my PC via USB and the AUX port breakout board connected to the AUX port, I expected to be able to measure 5V at the TGTSUPPLYOUT pins but I'm not seeing any voltage.
Secondly, after many tries the voltage measured between TGTSUPPLYOUT and GND is only 0.6V even after keeping the configuration to “Probe supplied power”.
In addition, now i can’t even detect the XDS110 probe Debug using the UNIFLASH and also i can’t find the CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS in the list of the Ressource Explorer or even in the UNIFLASH.

I contacted an IT technician on the platform, he told me that the CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS in question is an obsolete product.

Hello,

Can you try to use it with "Flash Programmer 2" too ? And do you have another debugger to connect to EVM-WBMS boards ? I have asked couple of other engineers and no one can recognize the issue about the EVM-WBMS boards.

It looks more like a XDS110 debug probe issue. Even without connecting to EVM boards, it should detect the XDS110 by using Flash Programmer 2.

Hello,

I currently do not have any new debugs, and the old one is no longer functioning. The boards (CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS REV : A) themselves pose no issue, but i can't find them both on the Resource Exploer list and on UNIFLASH.

Hello,

Yes, I had similar thought, as even when i connected the XDS110 using a USB cable to my PC, i expected to receive 5V. Unfortunately, i did not obtain the expected voltage.

We solved the issue over email. Default examples comes with XDS110ET debugger and XDS110 Debug Probe driver is different. All the issues caused from trying to run XDS110 Debug Probe with XDS110ET driver.
