RF430F5978: Timming Capacitor Configuration for the RF

Part Number: RF430F5978

Tool/software:

Hello,

The question concerns the RF430F5155, which I was unable to enter because it is not available in the editor's menu.

We need help about Timming Capacitor Configuration for the RF : is it possible to readback data already written in the memory (LF or SPI)?
We would like set CTx values for the X/Y/Z-axes.
We planning to use LF command as describe in "7.6.19 General Remote Antenna Trimming", p90 of "AES Product Family" document (see screenshot).

Thanks.

  • Hello Customer, thank you for your question and interest in our products.

This product has limited design support. The forum support of this product has been reduced to first reference our existing documentation and collateral. With each of these resources we believe it will help with your question.

Reading the RF430 User's Guide, it has the below notes.

    24.5.6.19 General Remote Antenna Trimming

The resonant circuits of the RF430F59xx can be trimmed by the embedded binary weighted trimming capacitor array (see Figure 24-56). The trimming capacitors are switched on or off permanently (without existence of supply voltage) by floating gate transistors, which can be programmed remotely via LF interface.

    24.5.6.20 Selective Remote Antenna Trimming

This action is not available via SPI

24.5.6.2 Selective Program 128-Bit Encryption Keys

Selective Program 128-bit Encryption Key is not available via SPI.
