I am currently designing an RFID reader for low-frequency applications. For 125 kHz, I am using the HTRC110 from NXP. However, I am encountering issues with the reading range. My target is a reading distance of 15 cm, but I have not been able to achieve more than 10 cm.
I am trying to determine whether this limitation is due to the inherent capabilities of the HTRC110 or if there are issues within my design. I’ve attached the schematic for your reference.
Additionally, I’ve been searching for an alternative to the HTRC110 but haven’t been successful. Could you kindly suggest a suitable replacement for this part?
If you have any tips or suggestions to improve my current design and extend the reading distance, I would greatly appreciate your input.
