Design for CC1101 and CC1070 for 403 MHz?

When I use it for the design given for 433MHz, how will i tune it for 403?

Thanks for the link. I downloaded the file and came across a .txt file that contains some specification for 315 MHz. We have to make those changes in the components and the values for IC to work in 315 region. Therefore similarly I want to know what component values should I change to make it work at 403MHz?

If I need to keep the values same for both 433 and 403, then what changes in settings should be done for it to operate in 403? I will use the same layout, but I need to know the component values that differ.

I wast to use it according to MICS standard.

Sorry, I didn't see the .txt file when I looked at the zip file myself. As you see most components are one or two values larger.

For short range the 433MHz component values are probably good enough. Or you can try to scale the balun components by increasing the component values by 8%. (433/403). For a low E series this will not be possible.

I am not worried about the range, but worried about the frequency used, as MICS standard is ti be strictly followed. I need 402-405 MHz freq.
What is E series? What is the problem with it?

We have several customers using our radios in the MISC band at 402 MHz. Copy the CC1101-433 MHz and CC1170-433 MHz reference designs as is. No need to do any component tuning for operation at 402 MHz.

If I just copy 433 design, then won't it operate at 433???
I need to know what changes (even if they are very small) are needed to be done? Or if not then how should I program it for MICS?

I didn't change any values of components in 433MHz reference design. It was successful with 408MHz frequency.

You can use SMARTRF to init register values.

Are you using the development kit/board or directly using the IC?

You could use Smart RF Studio like the following:

- For testing where you connect your evaluation board with a EM attached to a PC with a USB cable and control the EM with Smart RF Studio

- You use Smart RF Studio in offline mode (no EB/EM connected) to find the correct settings for your use case. The you can export the register settings to use in your code.
