7960A EVM Rev A

I have this development kit from TI. You can drive it from the 7960 EVM Control GUI and the source code is available

which is good. Firmware version 9.11.2009_LED_Control.

I am having a problem though. I have 2 ISO ISO15693 tags (UIDs E00401001709082F & E0040100184F816F), so NXP silicon albeit in a UPM Rafsec tag. When I try the Inventory command, having preiously set the protocol to

say high data rate, 1 out of  4 PPM, full power, the reader doesn't see them. I think it struggles because the UIDs

have the same lower nibble and this forces a collision and hence it must use the recursive call  to try again with  an inventory mask.

If you have different lower nibbles it can read both tags no problem. Has anyone seen this problem before ? Is there a workaround to improve the read performance in this collision scenarios ?

Regards,

Ian
