CC2530 - complier clarification

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530, Z-STACK, CC2430

Hi,

I need some clarification on the CC2530 compiler.

I have seen many posts and even asked myself somewhere in the topics:

but I couldn't really get an answer on the CC2530 compiler.
I know, that the Z-Stack is prepared only for IAR, but what if I would like to have a proprietary code? How about debugging CC2530 under CCE or any GNU chain?  Could someone clarify if CC2530 can be used with other compilers at all??? How?
Thanks,
OskarM.
  • IAR is the only compiler with official debug support for CC2530. Note that the newest IAR kickstart version allows to compile 16Kbyte of code with the free version.

Keil has also a plug-in driver to support debugging on CC2430, but it seems like they have not released support for CC2530 yet:
