USB of CC2544

The information you are looking for can be found by visiting the CC2544 product information page.  This is done by clicking on the highlighted CC2544.  Then:

1. Download the Datasheet for the CC2541. http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/cc2544

2. Download the User's Guide for the CC2543/44/45 http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/swru283

3. Download the sample code for the for the CC2543/44/45 http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrc257 to familiarize yourself with the code.

Hopefully you have the CCDebugger. You will need it to download the firmware to the chip.

5. Download the IAR IDE for developing your application. http://www.iar.com/Products/IAR-Embedded-Workbench/8051/

6. Download the CC USB Software User's Guide, it applies to the CC2544 http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/swru222

7. Download the libraries and example code for the USB http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrc088 

Now you are all set to start integrating the CC2544 into your tablet design.  Hardware and development kit schematics can be found on the product development page.  There is also a recent iBeacon Broadcaster reference design available http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrc287.  It is based on the CC2543, but only the Port pins would need to be modified.

swrc257.zip include no USB sample,swrc088c.zip have USB sample code but not for CC2544.

I transplanted CC2531 USB code for CC2544,but failed,computer can not recognize the device.

The swrc257.zip was to give you an example of how the code for the CC2543/44/45 is written.

All the CC253x and CC254x are identical in terms of MCU and Ports functions.  The difference is in the radios, the number of Ports available and the support of USB or i2c.

If your computer did not recognize the device then check to make sure you have the correct drivers installed.

Also, you should be able to work directly with TI, the worlds largest semiconductor company to integrate this product into your design.

Perhaps the Shenzhen staff need an MCU training day or Deep Dive session to get up to speed on the CC25xx product line :-)

I went to TI office yesterday,and TI staff debug on my computer by himself ,but he failed.

I  borrow a CC2544 USB Dongle Reference Design kit from TI staff,but swrc088c.zip can not run it.I tried my best to correct it,but not any progress.

Our team finished other parts of our project,only USB transmission bring large obstacle for us.

I spent more than 10 days on this problem,hope you can help me to solve it.

The code in the swrc088.c has been successfully ported to the CC2544 http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/538/t/246854.aspx. It can be done.

The user you mentioned on  http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/538/t/246854.aspx use the rf_modem.After I analysed, the rf_modem did not use USB to send data.But I need USB function.

I tried to use simple_hid_dongle on CC2544,but it can not work.

Can you give me another example for CC2544 USB user?
