We have a CC2511 EMK that is going to be used as a packet sniffer for a network of CC2500 devices.

Out of the box it can not be recognized as a USB device and we do not have the SmartRF05EB boards.

We have already compiled some examples with the IAR for 8051.

We have also downloaded Smart RF Studio and Smart RF Flash Programmer.

Does anybody has a guide on how can we configure it with the packet sniffer software from TI?

We will appreciate your help since we have not been able to go forward so far.

    Hello,

    The  module that has the two 10 pin headers in addition to the USB connector. One of the headers is the dedug interface. If so the device can interface with Packet Sniffer by usings a CC-Debugger dongle.  CC-Debugger will also provide an interface to IAR, RF Studio, and flash programmer.

    The dongle or similar will be necessary to flash the module to load the code to enable the USB port
