CC1101 for use in Asia

Hello guys!

We want to trade a RF device based on CC1101 in ASIA (e.g. India and South Korea) and we have doubt if the CC1101 chip would be a trouble for this region. We know that for Europe and U.S. it doesn't have any problem.

The device has the CE certification. Can we trade it in Asia with this certification?

You have to check the regulations in the countries you want to sell the device in. In some countries you have to be comply with ETSI in others FCC. Some countries uses ETSI or FCC inspired rules but have changed the frequency bands to fit their need. Asia is a large region, which countries do you ant to cover?

In this case, India and South Korea. We have the european certification for Radiofrequency compliance, so if it is possible, we want to avoid another certification (too much money).

CC1101 is a good fit for these countries but you will need a certification for the country in question.
