ZLight2 reference design

Hi all,

I followed the reference design given by Ti for the CC2531 ZLight2 (http://www.ti.com/tool/CC2531ZLIGHT2-RD).

I fabricated the PCBs on FR4 material and soldered all the components. When I tried to test it out, I couldn't establish pairing with the ZLRemote. I check the board, I can download programs onto the board with a CCDebugger. I can write a simple program to turn on and off the LEDs individually. As such, I am pretty sure that the connections and soldering on the board is mostly good.

Now, I just can't get the wireless to work. I am not what is the cause of it and how can I check the problem easily. I am not sure if this is because of the PCB material and the antenna design. Is there any simple programs I can download on the board to test? Maybe for it to send something out continuously and I can use a CC2531 usb dongle to sniff the packets. If the dongle can detect packets, then I presume the wireless is fine right?

Cheers,

Kian
