Champs,
THis is likely all pilot error... but I'm a little lost and not seeming to find any instructions anywhere...
So wanting to demo the RF430CL330 to my customer; I had grabbed the combo EVM; that is, MSP430G-series (2252 I think it is) and a DLP-RF430BP booster pack. I downlaoded the example SW from here:
http://www.ti.com/tool/rf430cl330h-example-code (2nd download, the G-series part one)
and loaded it onto the MSP430. No problem- all built and loaded cleanly; but basically I see it stuck after the first I2C write; the booster pack part doesn't ACK. If there's a 430 in that part- is there some other piece of FW I need to load onto the RF430CL330 part before I can make this work? ANd by all means; if there's an easier way to demonstrate soemthing on this platform; I'mm all ears- I was actually hoping to get something that could talk to my phone with a few bytes; and it honestly looks like this demo, even if it worked; is just showing you how to read/write the part; which is useful but kond of non-eventful in front of a customer.
Let me know- I'm sure I've missed some crucial step here...
