Hello, dear gentlemen!

Replacement for RI-TRP-RFOB-01 on the Council of representatives TI have been acquired in the trial batch to check the transponders TRPGR30ATGA. Transponders have been tested successfully.
And at the moment, I need to write a terms of reference for the acquisition of these transponders. The question arose: what is the difference between the following transponders TRPGR30ATGA except the name, size and reading range?
TRPGR30ATGB, TRPGR30ATGC, TRPGR30ENATGA,TRPGR30ENATGB

Please suggest, what are the unique specifications have transponders series TRPGR30ATGA?

Hello Vladimir,

Beyond what you listed, there is the following differences:

The TRPGR30ATGB has a max temp of 70 degree C vs the TRPGR30ATGC having a max temp of 85 degree C.

The TRPGR30ENATGA and TRPGR30ENATGB have compliance with the EN 14803 Numbering specifications - I am honestly not sure what that really means myself, I'd have to ask the product team on Monday if you want to know, but it looks like it's something to do with waste disposal systems from Googling the standard?

Also like the TRPGR30ATGB , the TRPGR30ENATGA and the TRPGR30ENATGB have max temperatures of 70 degrees C.

Hello Vladimir,

EN14803 is a European Waste-management Standard which defines beside e.g. position for the placement of the transponder on the waste container also the numbering scheme of the 64bit R/O identification number of the transponder.

The TRPGR30ENATGA and TRPGR30ENATGB are coded according this numbering scheme.

Thank you for your answer and help. There is one more small question: Ralph, prompt please what number of the patent which refers in Features (www.ti.com/.../TRPGR30ATGA), namely quote: "Patented Transponder Tuning Provides Stable and High Read Performance"?
