CC2400: Understanding the IIP3 and 1dBCP of the datasheet

I have a problem with the CC2400 data sheet.

Can you explain how it is possable that the IIP3 is bigger than the 1dB compression point.

According to the data sheet:

Saturation (maximum input level) 3 dBm.

Saturation level is not the same as 1 dB compression point.
- Saturation level is the maximum input power level that can be demodulated correctly.
- 1 dB compression point is defined as the input signal level that causes the small-signal gain to drop by 1 dB.
The 1 db compression point is related to IIP3 as (approximately): 1 dB compression = IIP3 - 10 dB

Ok,Thank you.

Lets assume that the 1dbcp=-17-10= -27dbm.

this is a low value. How the cc2400 is not Compressed?

Don't understand what you mean. CC2400 has a 1 dB compression point of approx -27 dBm and as far as I know there is nothing unusual about this nummer.
