Hello,

In the datasheet CC2544 System-on-Chip for 2.4-GHz USB Applications datasheet (Rev. D) page 4, RF RECEIVE SECTION.

Co-Channel refection Wanted signal at -67 dBm

Does value -67dBm are specified by the certification?

Can I change -67dBm to any value (-47dBm or -2dBm or -70dBm)?

Hi Panchen,

You can not change the value, it is the test condition not a setting. Could you elaborate on what exactly you are after in this case?

Hi M-W,

End customers report that our products(Keyboard/mouse usb 2.4g dongle) sometimes do not connect properly.
They need product RF test data.
Do I need to use -67dm conditions to test my product RF co-Channel refection?
The end customer will ask me why you using -67dm as a test condition.
I am curious, why TI's test condition is -67dm?

Hi Panchen,

I would guess the -67 dBm condition comes from the BLE requirements, even tho the device in question is not a BLE one, the PHY is quite similar. In BLE, the requirement for sensitivity is -70 dBm and tests for things like co-channel rejection is done at this level + 3dB (this would mean -67 dBm).

Now, this does not limit you to test other levels if needed.
