Hi,
I'm trying to implement my own custom transceiver device based on CC2650. When I try to test my board using smartRF studio, following error appears.
However, when I upload a firmware to the device using SmartRF flash programmer it uploads fine. Here is the log,
>Initiate access to target: XDS-L1000560. >Reading file: C:/Users/Anuradha Priyankara/Downloads/udp-client.bin. >File size: 131072 bytes. >Number of assigned pages: 16. >About 43 percent of the file contain assigned code. >Start flash erase ... >Erase finished successfully. >Start flash programming ... >Programming finished successfully. >Start flash verify ... >Skip verification of unassigned page: 15. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 16. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 17. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 18. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 19. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 20. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 21. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 22. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 23. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 24. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 25. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 26. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 27. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 28. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 29. >Skip verification of unassigned page: 30. >Page: 0 verified OK. >Page: 1 verified OK. >Page: 2 verified OK. >Page: 3 verified OK. >Page: 4 verified OK. >Page: 5 verified OK. >Page: 6 verified OK. >Page: 7 verified OK. >Page: 8 verified OK. >Page: 9 verified OK. >Page: 10 verified OK. >Page: 11 verified OK. >Page: 12 verified OK. >Page: 13 verified OK. >Page: 14 verified OK. >Page: 31 verified OK. >Verification finished successfully. >Reset target ... >Reset of target successful.
However the device is appeared to be not working.
My design is based on CC2650 Sensortag.
The PCB design is almost an edited version of Sensortag too,
I'm using a XDS110 debugger in a CC2650 launchpad to test and program the device. My setup looks like this,
My best guess is that the Oscillator is not working/not connected or the device is already in reset mode and cannot be reset by software. However I saw somewhere it's not advised to directly probe the Oscillator pins since it may brick the device. Is there any way to make sure Oscillator is working without probing? ( JTAG method or something ).
