CCS/DLP-7970ABP: I want to use the analog front end of DLP with MSP430F5229LP as base board, to sniff the ISO-15693 RF communication.

Part Number: DLP-7970ABP

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi ,

Is there any example code to configure the DLP-7970ABP in the direct mode 0 ? I'm looking for a quick workaround to sniff the ISO-15693 communication.

Or do you have any recommendation for sniffing the ISO-15693 communication.

Thanks,

Ankit

  • Hello Ankit,

We do not have an example for that and are not in position to support such an application. It had been investigated on our end a few years back but we never got a functional version working albeit it was a side project that was dropped.

Right now I am not aware of any ISO15693 sniffers, but if anyone would have one, it would probably be Frontline. Last I looked they did not though.

  • Hello Ralph,

Thanks for quick and prompt response on the subject. I understand that a sniffer capability is not yet worked out. However is it possible to use DLP7970 in direct mode 0 to get the raw data from the Analog front end of the DLP.

    Thanks,

    Ankit

  • Hello Ankit,

No it is not and we don't have an EVM that really offers that anymore. The TRF7970AEVM and TRF7970ATB are both no longer offered. Our focus is on NFC applications where DM0 is not needed.
