hi,

we set WL8 be AP mode.

wl8 driver R8.7_SP3

wl8 fw version 8.9.0.0.81

Test Case:

DUT enable WL8 be AP mode.
Client connected to WL8 AP mode.
then Client device disconnected after few hours. the issue is random.
And Client can't scan WL8 AP mode anymore. WL8 need to re-enable.

there is fw log over SDIO in attached file.

Please share any comment for this kind of issue. Thanks.

Other client can't discovery and connect WL8 AP's ssid.

Are you able to reproduce this issue with fwr 8.9.0.0.79 ? Can you provide a sniffer trace ?

the issue also happened in 8.9.0.0.79.

did you mean wifi packet sniffer over air???

Hi,

Yes, can you please provide over the air sniffer trace. We will also need driver and supplicant logs. You mentioned AP is not discoverable - can you pls provide output of 'ifconfig wlan1 info'. Firmware logs over SDIO can cause unexpected issues and we plan to remove the feature - can you pls provide firmware logs over UART.
