Hi champs,

customer uses RF430CL331H ( and MSP430FR2476) to realize a field powered NFC communication from their device to a mobile app.

Cust want to do mobile phone NFC range checking with their RF430CL331H application.

Q: Is there a Mobile Phone Application from TI or 3rd party available, which is capable of testing an unpowered NFC target regarding exchange of large data quantities (10 kBytes)?

Any ideas welcome!

    Hello DJ-NG,

    I would anticipate the more robust mobile apps would support that functionality. The one we had used for testing the RF430CL331H unfortunately stopped being updated years ago, but I would expect newer apps would be able to support that as well - especially on Android. That said, I haven't done any evaluation of such apps to test that and do not have a suggestion to make here. TI does not offer such a mobile app.
