I have been unable to find a crystal that matches the specifications called for by the data sheet, and the part listed in the demo design is obsolete.
Custom / non stock / long lead time parts are not an option.
The required spec.s per the Data sheet - 48-MHz, ±50 ppm frequency accuracy, load capacitance of 16pF, and max ESR of 60-ohm for proper operation.
The closest I have found are equal or better specifications except this -
One has the load capacitance at 18pF, 60 ohms ESR.
The other is 12pF with 50 ohms ESR
Is there a way to reliably adapt anything to use these, or do I have to resort to an oscillator? They are available, but cost much more than a crystal.
