CC8531: I2S slave configuration

Hey everybody,

I developed a little PCB based on the CC85xx-Headset evaluation board. By now everything works fine in terms of transmission. Now I would like to send the received audio via I2S to my ADAU1467 DSP. The DSP is configured as master, so it generates BCLK and WCLK. 

The problem is, that I could not find a way to deaktivate the generation of BCLK and WCLK in the PP wireless configurator. In the audio interface section I selected "DSP" as device and enabled "custom setup", but I cannot select "external" as clock source.

If anybody could tell my what I am doing wrong I would be very grateful

    Hi Josef,

    To keep all the nodes in sync with the master device, the master needs to distribute the sample rate clock (WCLK.) Therefore, you cannot select external clock for a node. If you switch to Master in the PurePath Configurator you will see external clock source available.
