CC2530 can't be detected

Hello everyone,

I have made a board by the reference design of the CC2530 on TI.com,but the chip on it can't be detected by debugger.

I'm sure the debugger works right since it can detect another CC2530 on the development kit.

I try to use an o'scope to check the waveform on pin DD、pin \RESET of CC2530. Then I find,following the transitions on pin /RESET, the waveform from pin DD on my board is different from the one on the development kit. Is it the reason why the CC2530 on my board can't be detected ? Does it mean the chip is damaged or there are other problems on my board?and what should I do then?

I have figured out the solution to this problem.

Make sure to download the newest version of IAR I believe it is version 5.4

Next once you are in the IAR software, right click your project file and go to options.

You should set your options to :

It would be great if you could post the image again on the forum such that everyone can see how you solved your issue.

BTW, Appendix A in the CC2530 User's Guide (www.ti.com/lit/swru208) describes how to set up a simple SW project for CC2530 in IAR.

Other than that, I can only confirm that you should have the latest patches for IAR to work with CC2530 (and CC2540).
