Howdy
I recently purchase the MSP-FET430U5X100 - MSP430F5xx 100-Pin Target board and USB Programmer. For some reason I'm not able to flash or test my code on the target board. I've tried Code Composer and IAR, and keep getting the "Error connecting to the target: Unknown device". I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Before running the code both software's asks me to update my drivers, I do, and I still get the same result. I've follow the steps online for both Code Composer and IAR hardware installation and still having the same problem. I was assuming that I had the processor in backwards or something. Is their away that you can check and verify that you have the processor in the socket correctly? I would like to know for verification purposes. But I still think that their is some other problem I would appreciate any help.
