Hello,

I am testing TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE (Battery-Less NFC/RFID Temperature Sensing Patch) with TRF7970AEVM and the RF430FRL152H GUI.

I have purchased recenlty TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE and TRF7970AEVM.

But, I can't read temp data with RF430FRL152H GUI. ('Could not write to the device')

And I also tested with Android App. But, I can't also read temp data.

* VDDSW waveform(TP12) of TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE

Please give me advise.

Using the TRF7970AEVM could you perform these steps and respond with the results?

Unplug the TRF7970AEVM and connect it back to USB. Try bringing the patch near the EVM's antenna and check if one of the red LEDs lights up.

You should be able to do other tests with the TRF7970AEVM GUI by going to the TRF7970AEVM tool folder:

And from the Software section downloading GUI. With this GUI you can test inventory and other ISO15693 commands.

Thank you for reply.

I have tested with TRF7970AEVM+TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE.

And, only Power LED(Green) ligths up. I can't read temp data.('Could not write to the device')

As I said before, I can't read temp data with Android App, too.

And, I have installed TRF7970AEVM GUI. But, I don't know exactly how to test with TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE on TRF7970AEVM GUI.

I know that RF430FRL152H on TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE does not need to be programmed.

Does we need to update Firmware of TRF7970AEVM?

What is wrong at this test?

I found a problem.
The RF430FRL152H soldering on TIDM-RF430-TEMPSENSE is not good.

Good to hear. Will keep this in mind for future cases.
