I am looking to use the level translator in the part to match my system (MCU) I/O voltage of 1.8V. So I will not be connecting VDD_X to VDD_I/O. VDD_X will not be connected, but of course will have required external Caps. I will drive VDD_I/O from a separate power source (1.8V) that supplies my MCU also.
There is no mention of power sequencing in the datasheet. Can VIN be present, while VDD_I/O is not? Is there a relationship between these supplies that needs to be met? My VIN will be sourced from a Battery that will always be present while VDD_I/O will come up later or not be present at all for an extended time.
