LAUNCHXL-CC1352P: Clarification of ports for external antennas

Dear TI technical support,

I have purchased the module, CC1352P-2, from TI. I would like to connect external antennas to the board and have the following questions:

Given the on board SMA connector, does this serve both frequency bands?

Do I need to unsolder any capacitors to use the external antenna

I have also noticed 3 separate UFL connector ports on board and would like to ask if we can use these ufl connectors to connect to one external antenna per frequency band

If yes, do we need to do any physical or software modifications to enable the use of ufl based external antennas?

    Based on the schematic found in: www.ti.com/.../swrc350

    The switch (U32) select either the sub 1-GHz signal or the 2.4 GHz signal and output this on the antenna. In Studio the control of the switch is done automatically. When you do this the signal will be available on the UFL when you use the interface that output the signal on this port. And yes, you can use an external antenna pr band.

    The PCB antenna is selected by default, to use the SMA connector you have to move the C482 cap to the C483 position. As you can see from the schematic, using the UFL connectors require that you move the cap that is connected to the switch to the DNM position.
