SENSOR-CONTROLLER-STUDIO: BUG REPORT: empty data structures causes bus fault when using auto generated functions

Part Number: SENSOR-CONTROLLER-STUDIO

when a data structure is left empty, auto generated files include corresponding struct id, but when i use that id with a function like scifResetTaskStructs, i get bus fault. It looks like a null pointer error and for my case, happens after at least a hour is passed, not easy to reproduce. After adding a dummy data into structure, problem vanished.

  • Hi Emre,

I will try to reproduce this locally, would you by any change be able to share your test project with me?

    Best regards,

    Hi Emre,

Were you able to share the project with me? Also, can you elaborate on what you mean by "data structure is left empty" in a Sensor Controller context?

    Best regards,

    M-W
