LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Inquiry about RSSI value difference in consecutive RX and rfPacketRx examples

my customer is using launchpad-cc26x2R1.

The test environment was configured as shown in the picture below.

One on the left is CW RX and the other is rfPacketRX example.

The two launchpad's RSSI values are different.

the rssi of CW RX is about -60dBm. The other is about -30dBm.

I want to know why it makes a difference.

Hi,

CC26x2 use Zero IF. So, CW-Unmodulated should not be used for RSSI measurement because of DCOC correction Loop.

Please use Tx Packet on Transmitter and use Rx Packet on Receiver to get an accurate RSSI values.
