CC8531 Purepath Wireless Windows 8.1

Good day TI team

I have done a design based on the CC8531 Headset reference design.

However, I am unable to connect to my PCB with CC Debugger from Purepath Wireless.  I then tried connecting CC Debugger

to the Headset reference design, and realised the same problem.  CC Debugger not detected in Purepath Wireless.  Revision is 1.4.2

I then tested on Windows 7, on which it works.  Appears to be Windows 8.1 related.  Any workaround for WIndows 8.1?

    Hi,

    It may not solve the problem, but worth trying:
    I recall that windows 8.x had some issues with several TI software solutions (such as purepath), the workaround was to uninstall
    the software and then install it as administrator, moreover one had to execute the software as administrator too.

    On the side note, I think there should be some documentation with known bugs/issues under documentation folder,
    may be you'll find something helpful there
