Replacement for RI-TRP-W9WK

Is there any transponder that is a compatible replacement for the RI-TRP-W9WK? We're using the TMS3705A to interface to it. We've gotten in samples of the TRPGP40ATGC but despite claiming to be an 80-bit Customer Configurable Transponder (CCT) they seem to be read only (send back the read only tag when read and will not write)

    io spoke with the product manager on this - he commented that this was OTP device, which may explain the problem  - it also seems that there has been some delay in releasing the user manual for this device as its a new entry for the general market - this device is really for folks to program in their codes for animal tracking applications - its agreed that is missing from the webpage and is action item on TI side to fix it.
