CC8530: Max number of Master/Slave pair in the same area

Hello,

we are using your CC8530 audio streamer since 7 years in our products (a base = master connected to a headset with microphone = slave).

For our application we know by test that up to 3 master/slave pair can cohexist without any problem in the same area.

Do you know how many master/slave pair (max number) can cohexist in the same area ?

Hi Pascal,

It is a hard question to answer as it depends on many factors such as output power, data rate, area, how close to each other each pair would be etc.

I would say that testing is the best way to get an actual number as you know your use-case best. Things o consider is that for example devices that operate in very (like next to each other) proximity could impact each other depending on which channels they use etc.
