CC2500: If the frequency synthesizer has the function as a DAC?

Hi, I want to ask if the frequency synthesizer of CC2500 has the function of a DAC in it? I saw the data sheet stated that there is ADC function when it is in receiver mode but I am wondering if the digital data input would be converted into analog signal by frequency synthesizer to RF_OUT in transmitter mode?

    The digital data gets converted to an analog signal in the modulator, which works on a variety of different schemes. While the ADC is needed in the input to run matched filters on the received data, the converse (a DAC) isn't needed on the transmitter. On the TX side, we're mapping bits to deviations in frequency/amplitude/phase....etc through the modulation schemes, which doesn't really require us to smooth our bit signal in the same way with a DAC.
