TRF7960A: Problem detecting 14443 Tags using DLP RFID2 and TRF7960A

can you please explain what software you are using and point me to the user guide you mentioned. The DLP RFID2 is a product from DLP and should contain a TRF7970A.

because I don't have the DLP reader I can only test with the TI TRF7970A EVM as described in the guide you referred to. I have no NTAG at hand so I tested with a ISO14443A card and could successful read the UID of the card.

The firmware version that is installed on my reader is version 03 from 11/Nov/2013. This information can be read out with the GUI in the Test Tab. The GUI I use has version 1.4.

What software are you looking for? Do you need software to control the DLP RFID2 reader or are you looking for the reader firmware?

i already have the reader firmware, i am looking for a C code to write some datas on the Tag and read them.

for the GUI we do not have source code available. I can only point you to a document that describes the commands used for ISO15693 tags. This documents helps to understand the general protocol structure. The communication parameters are 115200 baud 8N1. No CR/LF at the end. These commands can be send also with a terminal program.

To setup the reader and send a REQA command the following sequence should work:

0108000304FF0000 -> Check for Reader

010C00030410002101090000 -> ISO14443A Setup
0109000304F0000000 -> AGC Toggle
0109000304F1FF0000 -> AM PM Toggle
0109000304A0010000 -> ISO14443A REQA

010A0003041000010000 RF Off

Please take a look into the source of the reader firmware in the file "host.c" for more commands that can be handled by the reader.

I am afraid we're not talking about the same firmware. i only have this document dlp-rfid2-ds-v10.pdf and it doesn't contain "host.c" is it possible that you have the reader firmware please?
