CC1125: EN 300113, EN301166, AS/NZS 4768 compliance

Part Number: CC1125

I've been testing the cc1125 to see if it has a chance of passing  EN 300113, EN301166, AS/NZS 4768. But then I saw Sverre's post that states the CC1125 will not pass EN 300 113 because of the intermodulation test. I am testing between 450 - 470MHz and have a FEM with internal LNA. When I measured intermodulation according to En 300113 it failed by about 5dB at 2.4kbps, 5kHz BW,+-1.2kHz deviation. ACR looks good enough but Blocking at 1MHz is also 5dB off. Also, I can't afford to drop the data rate much lower.

Has anybody managed to get the CC1125 through EN 300113 or should I give up now and look for a different solution? Are there any other parts in TI's portfolio that can build a radio to meet the stringent receiver tests of EN 300113, EN301166, AS/NZS 4768?

  • Hi,

According to the CC1125 datasheet which is based upon official verification tests, CC1125 will pass EN 300 113 in high performance mode in the frequency band 410-480 MHz.

You might need to reduce the data rate to pass the stringent receiver tests. Please test with 1.2 kbps (CAT 1 settings) PHY (or 300 bps PHY) to see if this helps.
