Dear Experts,

Currently we are working with CC1350 for transmit and receive UART data through RF, we have found below link

PrashanthS have shared example code for that, then i have a three CC1350 evaluation boards, 1 board is -rev1.3 another two is rev-1.2

i have checked the code with my rev1.2 boards i can't getting any data through RF but the TX LED indicates the transmission is done but the another board does not receive any data so i decided to use rev1.3 board, after that i have transmit data through serial with rev1.3 board then rev 1.2 board received that data but if i send data from rev1.2 board the rev1.3 board does not receive the data,

I can't understand what happen there?

then i have checked the board with smart RF studio app i am getting below error

kindly help us to resolve the issue

Hi Surya,

The launchpad revision shouldn't matter.

I see in SmartRF studio you are not using Cap-array tuning. Can you enable this and re-test the different configurations?

- If SmartRF Studio report that both your rev 1.2 and rev 1.3 board has a rev B chip the version should not have an impact.

- Are you able to measure if you have a frequency offset between a rev 1.3 and a rev 1.2 board?

- Have you tested with the rfPacketRX/TX examples from the SDK?

Thanks for the reply, previously i don't have pair of rev1.3 boards so i can't check the code with them but currently i have checked the code with rev1.3 boards that are working fine, i can't understand here what is the problem in rev1.2 boards.

Hi Surya,

As explained above the 1.2 boards should not be an issue in itself.

Have you tested with the rfPacketRX/TX examples from the SDK?

yes, I have checked the 1.2 boards with rfPacket RX/TX examples from the SDK(4.10.1.01), that Tx green led and Rx red led blinking if i disable the Tx board after the Rx board led stop blinking,

As per your suggestion, i have enabled Cap-array tuning at smart rf studio but i am getting the same buffer overflow error

Can you use the smartrf_settings files from the Packet Tx/Packet Rx example with the UART bridge example?
