CC1312R: Simplelink Core SDK confusion

Part Number: CC1312R

Hi,

I am working with cc1312r on a custom board, doing some testing with Contiki-NG. They utilize the TI NoRTOS kernel and drivers from the Simplelink Core SDK. As their current version is quite old (4.10.02, 2+ years ago), I was looking to update it. I see that "CoreSDK" is mentioned in other SDK release notes and via google I found some release notes for the coresdk itself, here. It is also mentioned in several forum posts by TI employees (e.g. here). However, I cannot find any proper documentation, information or place to download the CoreSDK.

1. Could anyone please clarify the "CoreSDK", how it fits in the Simplelink SDK, and how it is currently versioned? I get the sense it is a abandoned concept(?)

2. Where can I download it? And if it cannot be downloaded separately, is it appropriate to fetch its parts (kernel and drivers afaiu) from the full SDK?

3. Related: Is TI maintaining the Simplelink support in contiki-ng? E.g. to the level of keeping the utilized CoreSDK updated? I noticed it was a TI employee which added support, and updated it once.

Regards

Andreas
