CC1310: wMBus StackForce max number of meters in collector

Part Number: CC1310

Hello,

are there any news to this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz-group/sub-1-ghz/f/sub-1-ghz-forum/964132/cc1310-maximum-number-of-connected-devices-in-wm-bus-data-collector-mode/3567393#3567393

I am highly interested in getting a number for the maximum of "installed" meters in the collector.

In the older thread the last answer is:

I got some additional information from the developers in addition to my old reply. In the uni-directional case, you should be able to increase the number up to the point that you run out of FLASH/RAM. I do not know the exact number but more then 16.

Can anybody estimate how much meters can be installed until we run out of FLASH/RAM?

An exact number would be nice, otherwise I need to know at least a space like 20, 50, 100, 200 ...

Best regards

SB

  • Hi SB,

The reason why we ask you to test this yourself is that this relies on your application... If you are using some drivers, maybe you have some extra data buffers etc, it will affect the available flash and RAM.
