CC1310: wMBus Patch question to Postamble

The patch doesn't add a post-amble.

Since the DIN EN 13757-4 standard a wMBus telegram in mode T needs a 2-8 chip long postamble. And all chips of the telegram should be send without interruption.

How would it be possible to add a postamble to the telegram, which fulfills the requirements of the standard?

I believe that that requires the patch to get updated to a new version.

We have not seen any issues with combability not using the post amble.   

I looked at the StackForce wMBus https://www.ti.com/tool/WMBUS?keyMatch=WMBUS solution, they somehow managed to send a postamble (at least it is mentioned in the code). But it is not exactly explained how they append and send the postamble. Since their rf_settings they also use the wMBus Patch.

I can try to find more details around this. 

Since this is a stack made by Stackforce you have to check with them on how they have implemented postamble.

thank your for your resarch. In another topic I once contacted StackForce and they told me they can not support me. I am am not directly their customer because our hardware comes from TI and then TI would be my contact for questions. Maybe you can get information from them how they exactly manage to send the postamble.

Besides that, do you have any idea how I can use your wMBus patch and manage to send a 2-8 chip postamble.

We have the full source code of the stack but the stack is still Stackforce IP meaning that I can't disclose exactly how they do things in their stack. 

Are you going to implement your own stack? 

Yes, because of different problems with the StackForce Stack we have implemented our own stack based on the wMBus patch. It works very well but at the moment we have no solution how to send the postamble.
