CC1125: Timing of "control external PA/LNA" GPIO Signals

Part Number: CC1125

I'm trying to use GPIO signals 23, 24, and 25 to control an external RF front end. However, I'm wondering what the timing of these signals is relative to RF output. For example, is there a delay between the "control external PA" signal and the beginning of RF output?

  • Internally in the CC1125, the PA and LNA are turned on/ off by an internal state machine. These signals, LNA_PD and PA_PD is also possible to get out on a pin as signal 24 and 25. It's a small delay between the LNA_PD changing state and the RF output. This is to allow the PA/ LNA to start up before handling RF signals.
