I have been experimenting with programming RF protocols on a CC1312R. Overall, the CC1312R is easy to program and provides many features for RF programming.

For my purpose, however, I probably need a slightly faster ARM processor and more program memory. Is there a Sub-1 GHz version that is an upgrade to CC1312?

Also, are there detailed documentations on how the program image is loaded onto the target board? I can get some information on the image map but want to know the memory

is being used, so, I maybe able to optimize the program.

Hi Tak,

We currently do not offer any Sub-1 GHz RF part with a faster ARM processor.

We are in the process of releasing parts with 704 kB of flash and 144 kB of SRAM, maybe this could be interesting for you? You can see a preview here:

Thanks for the info. When will the CC1352P7 be available for purchase? I am still looking for methodology to optimize memory usage and data processing. Can you please point me to documentations on details of loading a program image? How big a program image I can have with the CC13X2 launchpad family.

CC1352P7 LaunchPads are available here:

For loading an image you can use UNIFLASH (or you can use an IDE such as CCS directly).

Flash size for this part is 704 kB. In addition, TI RTOS and some other code components are stored in ROM, so your total image can be larger than this.
