CC1310: smartrf_settings and smartrf_settings_predefined

Part Number: CC1310
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, TEST

Hi

I get a little confused of the two files smartrf_settings.c and smartrf_settings_predefined.c.

I use the rfPacketErrorRate_CC1310_LAUNCHXL_nortos_ccs example and tries to change the FSK from 50 ksps to 200 ksps.

I generate the smartrf_settings.c/.h files with SmartRF Studio 7 - and the original files and the new files are close to the same.

However when I run the project it still transmits with 50 ksps and I guess it is because the settings in smartrf_settings_predefined.c hasn't changed. How do I get the new settings for this file?

Do I just manually compare each line with smartrf_settings.c and copy each line if they are different? Not all parameters in smartrf_settings_predefined.c are in smartrf_settings.c file.

Some places in the code there is this conditional:

#ifdef Board_SYSCONFIG_PREVIEW
#include <smartrf_settings/smartrf_settings.h>
#else
#include <smartrf_settings/smartrf_settings.h>
#include <smartrf_settings/smartrf_settings_predefined.h>
#endif

Is it more correct to define Board_SYSCONFIG_PREVIEW and would that make the example run with only the configured setting in smartrf_settings.c?

Regards,

Morten
