LAUNCHXL-CC1352P: SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 not detecting Device

I'm trying to setup the SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 Version 1.9.0 Alpha release. So far I can never get the software to detect the sniffer fw device.

using Flash Programmer 2, I have programmed sniffer fw from:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2\sniffer_fw\bin\cc1352p1lp\sniffer_fw.bin

I see DIO7 steadily blinking.

Following some older instructions I setup my terminal program with BAUD 921600 (tried same setting on Sniffer as well) and I see this kind of garbage print at regular intervals:

Please provide information regarding what protocol you are trying to sniff, and what instructions you are referring to.

I will eventually be sniffing IEEE 802.15.4 packets at 868MHz. The closest step that matches the Help Documentation is between steps 2 and 3 of the SmartRF Sniffer Agent Setup

The problem I have is the Launchxl-CC1352P isn't detected when I scan for devices or open the tool so the "Device Configuration button" is disabled. This is after I have installed the correct sniffer_fw.hex and verified there is a heartbeat LED blinking on the launchpad.

Figured out my issue, it appears the baud rate has been updated to use 3000000. Once I adjust that in the Serial Port settings the device is recognized
