Hello TI!

I'd like to utilize the newer CC simple-link series SoCs, but I can't find definitive support for M-ary FM similar to the CC1200 or CC1120? I've seen patches for the SDK which provide IQ samples on receive, but nothing on TX. I'm guessing because the TX chain isn't full IQ.

Is TI willing to support M-ary FM transmission / reception? Is their any documentation which can be provided that will let us implement this ourselves?

Hi,

I don't think IQ TX is possible on the mentioned devices but I have forwarded this to the team for confirmation.

FM TX on the devices provide fair amount of flexibility on packet format and radio parameters. Are you looking to implement a proprietary TX modulation?

But indeed, only IQ RX is supported today.

Can TI release a patch which will permit M-ary FM transmissions / reception? Specifically, we're looking to implement RCC w/ 4-FSK. Previously, I was able to implement this via the CC1200 using the M-ary mode.
