Hello,

My name is Corentin Mériot and I am an system engineer at ECA Aerospace.

We are currently working on the development of our IOT oriented plateform

We currently are exploring the offers regarding sub-GHz RF SoC and the CC13xx family is very interesting ! We have already purchases several demo boards (LAUNCHXL, LPSTK evaluation boards and TI15.4 stack sensor) in order to evaluate the performances of the chip in multiple contexts, but we would require your help to move forward and have a first demonstrator quickly. Could you please answer to following questions ?

Do you have a detailed architecture diagram of your OS the TI-RTOS?
Do you have a general schematic allowing to understand the hierarchy of the TI RTOS files?
Do you have a documentation explaining the management of the power modes (to complete the one already present in the simplelink)?
Do you have a general schema to understand the hierarchy of TI RTOS files?
Do you have a documentation allowing us to understand the messages exchanged & protocol in TI15.4 ?

Would you have a general schematic allowing to understand the hierarchy of the files of the example sensor-collector (TI 15.4 stack)? We don't understand well the role of the files present in the sensor or collector example and those present in the TI-RTOS (a documentation or diagram could help us a lot!)

Which SDK version are you using? I suggest you use the latest SDK where the TI15.4 examples are using TI-RTOS 7. In my opinion the file structure of and relationship between the files are easier to understand for TI-RTOS 7. Some of the differences are described here: TI-RTOS to TI-RTOS7 Migration

The TI-RTOS Kernel User's Guide is a good starting point for understanding TI-RTOS, but note that this document is not updated for TI-RTOS 7.

The Power Management User's Guide provides an extensive description of the power driver and how to manage the different power modes.

For the TI 15.4 stack you can refer to the CC13xx or CC26xx TI 15.4-Stack User’s Guide.

Some of messages exchanged are described in the sections for the different supported modes. Refer to Beacon Enabled Mode, Non-Beacon Mode and Frequency-Hopping Mode. You can also take a look at the IEEE 802.15.4 standard since TI 15.4 is based on this (refer to https://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_10_00_29/docs/ti154stack/html/ti154stack/introduction.html#ieee-802-15-4)
